In an interview with Colombian television, Diego Maradona has again expressed his concern over the current state of the Argentina national side.The 1986 World Cup winner said:
"The problem is a lack of hunger for glory like that we had in 86.
"We qualify well and we go to the World Cup, but we fall. Whenever I have the opportunity to speak with the players I say to them: the hunger for glory is not bought, the hunger to run behind the ball never dies, it is necessary to wake up with it, to want it."
Maradona is currently in Colombia receiving treatment.
