Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay has admitted that he would like a move to England.
"To play in England is a dream," he said
"But I insist that I do not want to talk about the hypothesis. I do not have any preferences about any clubs.
"My head is in Racing but like all professionals I would like to progress."
Garay, 21, currently plays for Racing Santander in the Spanish Primera Division, having joined from Newell's Old Boys in 2005. His early season form has been impressive, with scouts from Liverpool and Manchester United, along with Barcelona and Real Madrid, having watched the youngster in action.
Racing seem aware of the interest in their player, but have confirmed that no official offer has been forthcoming:
"We know the situation and the number of scouts that are at our games, but nobody has sent anything to us.
"We are calm and, as normal if something arrived, we would study it."
Garay has a 20million Euro buy-out clause in his contract and it is thought that Racing would want something in that region if they were to let him leave the club.
