Despite their 3-0 home defeat to Paraguay on Wednesday, the Chilean FA have come out in support of national coach Marcelo Bielsa, although many in Chile are calling for his head.In a statement released yesterday, they confirmed that they are more "than satisfied with the management of Bielsa."
Chile currently lie seventh in the qualifying group for the 2010 World Cup, with four points from the opening four games.
