Aguero to Receive Best U-21 Player Award from Tuttosport?

According to rumours in the Spanish press, Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero is likely to receive the best U-21 player in Europe award from the Italian publication Tuttosport.

The Argentine impressed during this year's U-20 World Cup, where he received both the golden ball for top goalscorer and the prise for best overall player in the tournament. He has continued that form into the beginning of the Spanish season, having already notched up ten goals.

Cesc Fabregas and Lionel Messi, who are also under the age of 21, are not included for the award as they were nominated for the overall European Player of the Year.

The awards ceremony is expected to take place in late December.
