Villarreal and Juventus to swap Riquelme for Tiago?

Spanish daily Marca is running a story claiming that Villarreal and Italian side Juventus are considering a swap deal involving Juan Riquelme and Tiago.

Neither player is receiving playing time at their current clubs and a switch on loan from January until the end of the season is apparently being discussed.

Diego Maradona has advised Riquelme to push for the move, with many believing that the playmaker's languid style would fit in perfectly with the slow pace of Serie A.

Although the swap seems a little one-sided in Juventus' favour, Villarreal seem keen to press ahead with the deal once the transfer window opens in January.
