U-17 World Cup 2nd Group Games

Argentina got their tournament back on course with a 4-1 victory over fellow Latin American side Honduras. It was Honduras who took a shock lead after 35 minutes, thanks to a Johnny Leveron penalty. Fernando Meza equalised for Argentina in first half stoppage time, with a goal from Alexis Machuca and a double from Nicolas Mazzola after the break enough to record a comfortable victory.

Haiti provided a shock result by drawing 1-1 with France. The French took an early lead, but Haiti were able to strike back through a Peterson Desrivieres strike after twenty minutes. Both sides had plenty of chances to add to the scoreline, but some impressive goalkeeping at both ends ensured a point a piece for the two sides.

Trinidad and Tobago's woes continued as they were thrashed 5-0 by a rampant Colombian side. Two goals from Andres Felipe Mosquera, along with single strikes from Santiago Trellez, Edgar Pardo and Ricardo Serna ensured an excellent victory which leaves the Colombians at the head of their group going into the final round of games.
