First off, Manchester City are thought to be lining up a bid for Julio Baptista. Sky Sports report that City are keen to take the Brazilian, who spent last season on loan at Arsenal, for a season-long loan.Sky Sports also report that Portsmouth have made an offer for CSKA Moscow's Brazilian midfielder Dudu. Valencia are also though to be interested in the player, but it seems that Portsmouth have made the first move and Dudu seems open to the idea of joining the Premier League club.
Finally, Lazio could make a move for Getafe goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri. Marca (Spanish link) report that the Italian side will look to the Argentine keeper for back-up, after failing to obtain an Italian passport for the recently signed Juan Pablo Carrizo.
