Monday Transfer Gossip (and a little bit of Sunday)

Not many rumours about today or on Sunday.

First off, it seems that Villarreal and Boca Juniors are close to agreeing another loan deal that will see Juan Riquelme play for the Argentine club for the upcoming season. Marca (Spanish link) report that a deal will be reached before the 17 August (the Argentine football transfer deadline day), with Villarreal having given up attempting to sell the player outright to another club in Europe.

Secondly and finally, The Sunday Mirror report that ten Premiership clubs are interested in signing Argentine 'wonderkid' Franco Di Santo from Chilean side Audex Italiano. The player is expected in England this week for talks, with all of the big four chasing his signature along with Tottenham, Everton, Middlesborough, Manchester City, Blackburn and Portsmouth.
