Rogerio Ceni Recognised by Guinness Book of Records

Sao Paulo goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni will be included in the '2008' edition of the Guinness Book of Records as the highest scoring keeper in world football.

The 34 year old had scored 66 goals between 1997-2006, which was enough for him to displace the previous holder, Paraguayan keeper Jose Chilavert, by four goals. He has since added another 10 goals to his total, but these will not be included until the '2009' edition of the book.

The '2008' edition goes on sale this week.
