Sao Paulo's 22 year old defender Alex Silva will be out of action for at least six months after rupturing knee ligaments in their 2-1 victory over Sport Recife at the weekend.The rising star will therefore miss out on Brazil's two World Cup qualifiers in November and is not expected to be back in action until April of next year at the earliest.
